DSBOX-TX2NX can encode up to eight and decode up to 14 video streams in 1080p at 30 FPS. Jetson TX2 NX processor delivers 1.33 TFLOPS AI performance with its 256 NVIDIA CUDA® Cores, Dual-core NVIDIA Denver 2 64-bit CPU and quad-core Arm® Cortex®-A57 MPCore processor complex.


When used with NVIDIA’s DeepStream SDK, simultaneous video processing applications can be deployed with outstanding AI performance. 28 FPS for Resnet-34 based people detection, 35 FPS for RESNET-18 based people detection, 52 FPS for RESNET-18 based vehicle detection and 275 FPS for RESNET-18 based face detection algorithms can be achieved using  GPU and NVIDIA TensorRT optimizations. RICH INDUSTRIAL CONNECTIVITY

DSBOX-TX2NX offers a great number of interface options that allows it to be used in any industrial system. It is the perfect combination of latest high speed interfaces like USB3.1, HDMI or Gigabit Ethernet and more traditional industry standard ones like RS-232, RS-422, CANBUS and isolated digital IOs. With all these high speed interfaces, you can process signals or videos in a very small industrial box pc solution connected to industrial devices thanks to the power and efficiency of NVIDIA Jetson TX2 NX module inside.


In addition to all these, DSBOX-TX2NX also provides more customization options with its internal interfaces. M.2 Key-M connector provides increased storage via NVME disks. M.2 Key-B interface enables the usage of LTE modules for 3G/4G/5G applications. M.2 Key-E connection can be used to provide WI-FI capability to the unit. It also has a SD card slot as an alternative storage option and SIM card slot to be used in combination with LTE modules.

DURABLE AND COMPACT

DSBOX-TX2NX is designed as a durable and compact solution for industrial environments. It has a wide operating temperature of -25⁰C to +65⁰C, industrial grade components and screw-lock power and IO connectors to eliminate the risk of unwanted disconnections.


DSBOX-TX2NX offers multiple mounting options for different environments. While it can simply be used as a desktop computer, it also has four mounting holes on the flanges for mounting on wall or other surfaces. It can be mounted on a standard rail by using the rail mount adapter as well.


Cooling is not an issue with DSBOX-TX2NX. We performed hours and even days of tests of heavy CPU/GPU loads at room temperature. As a result, internal CPU temperatures never exceeded 70⁰C and it never entered the state of thermal throttling. We made sure that you will not experience a performance drop for thermal reasons.

MAXIMUM BUS THROUGHPUT

DSBOX-TX2NX does not only have a wide selection of high speed interfaces, it also pushes the throughput limits of each interface available. Special attention is given to every detail during design process in order to realize this and deliver maximum throughput.


Multiple performance tests were made for all interfaces and the results were impressive. Gigabit Ethernet performs over 900Mbits/sec data rate. USB 3.1 tests were close to the limit as well, around 4.5 GBits/sec where theoretical limit is 5 GBits/sec. All PCI connections also perform close to limits depending on what generation they are.

DSBOX-TX2NX has an exceptional power design that provides stable power even over long-term usage. It can work 7/24 for weeks, even months without any problem. All of the components were chosen to minimize any chance of failure and operate for years of usage. Power design has been reviewed many times to ensure no details are overlooked for maximum stabilization and longest operating lifetime possible.


We made sure of DSBOX-TX2NX’s power circuitry through multiple performance tests. There hasn’t been a single issue after many tests under maximum CPU and GPU loads for long hours. It also works smoothly and reacts very quickly to power spikes when put under varying loads.


DSBOX-TX2NX offers a wide range of input of 9-28 VDC to be compatible with all kinds of industrial applications. With its screw-lock industrial grade power connectors, it ensures an uninterruptable power connection even in harshest conditions.
