Hardware: DSBOARD-NX2 (Rev. 1.1)

In this tutorial, we will solder an internal termination resistor (120Ω) on DSBOARD-NX2 (Rev. 1.1)’s CANBus lane. To do this, we have two different options to do it.

First Termination Resistor Point

The first location of a termination resistor is located on the front side of the DSBOARD-NX2. It’s next to the IO connector. You can solder a 120Ω SMD 0402 packaged resistor. If you want to solder a bigger one, please solder it to the second termination resistor point described to the next section.

Second Termination Resistor Point

The second location of a termination resistor is located on the rear side of the DSBOARD-NX2. It’s on the IO connector. You can solder a 120Ω resistor between these two pins.
