DSBOARD-ORNX is a cost-effective carrier board platform for all range of NVIDIA® Jetson Orin modules with SO-DIMM type connectors, Jetson Orin Nano and Orin NX. The main use case of DSBOARD-ORNX is Edge AI video and signal processing applications from a few video streams up to 18 Full-HD video streams at 30 FPS. With its modularity and compatibility with different NVIDIA® Jetson™ processors, you can choose the optimum processor for your application and reduce your deployment costs.
With the help of NVIDIA® TensorRT library and Deepstream framework, you can get maximum of the NVIDIA® Jetson™ processors. With all the optimizations applied, it is not a surprise to achieve desktop GPU level framerates with deep learning algorithms in embedded form factors. You can find more details about performance of NVIDIA® Jetson™ processors at NVIDIA®’s DeepStream SDK website.
With DSBOARD-ORNX, you can use NVIDIA® Jetson™ Orin NX 16GB, Orin NX 8GB, Orin Nano 8GB and Orin Nano 4GB modules with all the features supported. We provide BSP packages for each of these processors for each NVIDIA® Jetpack releases. Our common BSP release timeline is just two weeks after announcement and publication of official NVIDIA® Jetpack releases. Additional connectivity and OS related tutorials are published at our blog pages.
DSBOARD-ORNX provides both board level and external connection interfaces for all type of applications. With its rich external connectivity options, you can connect it to any communication bus and industrial networks. With high speed interfaces such as Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.1, you can connect high speed devices, cameras and can transfer high bandwidth data. Also we included industrial level communication interfaces such as CAN BUS and two serial ports, one RS232 and one RS422. Additional isolated digital inputs and outputs will help you when you send a signal to your camera for acquisition start or a direct signal to your PLC device based on algorithm findings.
The bandwidths of USB 3.1 interfaces with high speed cameras, Gigabit Ethernet with network throughput softwares, functionality and FPS performance of MIPI CSI-2 interfaces with high resolution cameras, NVMe SSD read/write performances with a PCIE GEN4 compatible NVMe SSD are tested by our QA team for each of boards before shipment, so we are sure that performance is stable and at maximum with each of our boards delivered to our customers.
DSBOARD-ORNX has a wide input voltage range together with a reliable power connector. Any power supply between 9-28 VDC range can be connected and it will work for weeks and months without any issues even under maximum CPU and GPU loads. The power design is realized to be compatible with all industrial standards.
Connector reliability is another important factor for industrial systems beside power design reliability. We chose screw locked industrial grade power connectors for achieving maximum connection reliability. With our screw locked connectors, no operation will be interrupted caused by connection issues.
