NVIDIA® Jetson™ Xavier™ NX processor. Xavier™ NX processor delivers 21 TOPS AI performance with its 384 NVIDIA® CUDA® Cores, 48 Tensor Cores, 6 Carmel ARM CPUs, and two NVIDIA® Deep Learning Accelerators (NVDLA) engines.
With the help of NVIDIA®’s DeepStream SDK, you can achieve maximum performance on simultaneous video processing applications. You can achieve up to 275 FPS for Resnet-34 based people detection, 362 FPS for RESNET-18 based people detection, 474 FPS for RESNET-18 based vehicle detection and 2298 FPS for RESNET-18 based face detection algorithms with full utilization of GPU together with two DLA engines. Mechanical mounting options are well-thought during the design of DSBOX enclosure. You can use it on the desk as your development computer for next edge AI project, mount to wall or a surface using the screw holes on the flanges or even can mount to a standard rail using the supplied rail mount adapter.
Thermal performance is guaranteed with its unique mechanical design. After 24 hours of heavy operation with maximum CPU and GPU utilization, internal CPU temperature does not exceed 70⁰C. With its guaranteed thermal performance. DSBOX-NX2 never reaches thermal throttling points of processor and never drops its performance.
With its rich industrial connectivity options, DSBOX-NX2 enables you to connect any industrial system, production line or network. Beside standard high speed interfaces such as Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.1, you can connect to PLC systems, servo motor controllers, sensors, actuators and even vehicle information networks using the CAN BUS interface. You can process signals, videos or device sensor information with deep learning based algorithms and send commands to your actuators, cobots or leds. Additionally, isolated industrial level digital inputs and outputs are available for initializing detection and recognition process or direct signal passing based on algorithm findings.
DSBOX-NX2 is designed for industrial automation and it satisfies all the needs for getting integrated to an automation system. Beside CAN BUS option, a multi-protocol serial port is available for RS-232, RS-485 or RS-422 based connections. The protocol can be changed by software using internal GPIO configuration commands very easily.
Hardware design of DSBOX-NX2 is realized with all the specifications of high speed interfaces in mind. Every trace is designed carefully in order to deliver maximum throughput to its users. DSBOX-NX2 includes PCI Gen 4 support for M.2 Key-M SSD connections, Gigabit Ethernet for broadband and network connections, 2x USB 3.1 for high resolution cameras and generic USB device connections and M.2 Key-B with USB 3.1 connection for 3G/4G/5G applications.
All of these high speed interfaces are tested on each shipped board and the performance never degrades. On M.2 Key-M SSD tests, the throughput is over 7 GB/sec with PCIE Gen 4 M.2 SSDs compared the theoretical limit of 8 GB/sec, USB 3.1 tests show 4.5 GB/sec under full utilization of the slots where theoretical limit is 5 GB/sec.
Last but not least, Gigabit Ethernet utilization tests show over 900MBits/sec compared to 1 Gbps theoretical limit of this interface.
DSBOX-NX2 provides a wide range voltage input together with reliability. You can connect any power supply between 9-28 VDC range and it will work for weeks and mounts without any issues. Even under long hours of maximum CPU and GPU loads. the power design is always stable and never causes an interruption.
